Visitation for Curtis Sack will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 12 at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris.
Curtis Luverne Sack of Morris MN, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on August 15th, 2025 surrounded by those who loved him.
Curt was born on October 3, 1958 in Morris MN. He was the son of James “Jimmy” Sack and Luella “Punky” Wirtjes Raasch. Curt grew up in Morris MN, where he attended and graduated from Morris High School in 1977.
Curt was married to ViAnn Solvie in 1979. They had two children Ryan and Tyler. Curt was married to Amy Grieme in 1992. They had two children Ellie and Carter.
Curt was a hardworking man who had a variety of work experiences. He took pride in having a strong work ethic. He worked at Unger Furniture in Morris, KMS High School, and Morris Area Public Schools.
Anyone who knew Curt knew that he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching MN sports, and an ice-cold Old Milwaukee. He also found joy in cooking, baking, and gardening. He was a man of few words, but appreciated time spent with family and close friends.
Curt is survived by his children, Ryan Sack of Morris, Tyler (Bobbi Arnold) Sack of Morris, Ellie (Travis) McCollum of Detroit Lakes, and Carter Sack of Willmar; granddaughter, Marin McCollum; mother, Luella “Punky” Raasch of Morris; siblings, Don (Brenda) Sack of Glenwood, Doug Sack of Carlos, Lori (Corey) Jacobson of Alberta. Curt was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in care of the arrangements for Curt.
