Cynthia L. Cleland, age 78, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1946, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She is survived by her loving children, Ray A. "Trey" Patterson, III (Jennifer), and Kathryn "Katie" Koepp; daughter-in-law, Jaimee Koepp; grandchildren, Alex Patterson, Emily Kennedy, Russell Koepp, Jr., Adam Patterson, Evan Patterson, Isabella Koepp, Jacob Koepp, Mia Koepp, and Zoey Koepp; great-granddaughter, Jasper Jennae Kennedy; and one great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Thomas Lee and Catherine Bubrig; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 21 years, Gary W. Cleland, Sr.; a son, Russell A. Koepp; her parents, Columbus Christopher Lee and Lily Jenny Casrill Lee; and two brothers, Terry V. Lee and Christopher Lee.
Mrs. Cindy lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed painting and gardening earlier in life. Her hobbies later in life included cruising, visiting casinos, and drinking Jack Daniels and Coca-Cola. She even tried zip-lining in recent years. She will be remembered for her loving, adventurous spirit and fun personality. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.
