Cynthia "Aunt Cindy" Hunsinger Rowe, 68, of Rutherfordton, North Carolina passed away of Wednesday, February 5, 2025. She was born January 7, 1957 to the late Joe Hunsinger and Maudean Jolley Hunsinger.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Mitchell Rowe; niece, Tami Ford (Tony); nephew, Jason Hunsinger (SuzAnne); great niece, Madelyn Ford; great nephews, Eli Hunsinger and Tyler Ford (Kiley); goddaughter, Kendra Turner; as well as other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Keith Rowe; her lap dog, Izzy; and many more friends and family members.
Aunt Cindy was a well loved person. She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed beach trips, Black Friday shopping, trips to Tennessee, and most recently, road trips out west. Her most requested blackberry cake, her 2pm lunches, and her readiness for any emergency will be missed. She travelled with the Chase High School Band and took her chaperone duties serious. She was a true example of what "loving thy neighbor" looked like.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, David Hunsinger.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Goodes Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Welch officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00PM, at the church, two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Goodes Creek Baptist Church/ Building Fund, 453 Goodes Creek Church Rd., Cliffside, NC 28024
