Cynthia Thomas Obituary

This tribute is dedicated in loving memory of Cynthia Dee Thomas, of Simi Valley, CA, who passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 68.

Cindy was the youngest of three children born of Russell and Delores Thomas. Cindy grew up in the San Fernando Valley and lived in Simi Valley. She graduated from LA Valley College.  Early in life, Cindy built a very successful career at the vanguard of tech. Cindy’s analytical mind, attention to detail, and steadfastness was exactly what was needed for the emerging technology. 

Cindy loved her work and her career spanned over 40 years. Cindy had many passions including travel, photography, gardening, and painting. Cindy loved to go antiquing. She collected antique purses, vintage glass bowls, and hats. She always enjoyed going to estate sales (especially in Pasadena), not only to add to her collection, but to see the beautiful architecture of the homes.

Cindy cared for all animals, especially her dog Holly. Holly was always by her side.  One of Cindy’s favorite things to do was to go to Starbucks and order a latte for herself and a cup of whipcream for Holly, her dog. Cindy will be forever in our hearts and with us in spirit.

A memorial will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, Simi Valley, CA on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with a reception to follow. 

We will remember her forever.
