Dale Franklin Bickford, Jr., age 76, of Perry, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. Born on May 22, 1949, in Lansing, Michigan. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Rowley Cemetery, Williamston, MI.
Dale attended Williamston School, where he established the foundation of a lifetime of learning and growth. After completing his education, he dedicated many years of service to General Motors, where he retired as a respected member of the team. His work was not only a means of livelihood but also an opportunity to form lasting friendships and contribute to the community he held dear.
Family was the cornerstone of Dale's life. He was a devoted brother to Mary Taylor and a loving husband to his late wife, Mary Ellen Hilliker. Dale was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Dale and Ardith (Newman) Bickford. Each of these family members played a significant role in shaping the man he became, and their memories remained a guiding light throughout his life.
Those who knew Dale often spoke of his innate kindness. Whether offering a helping hand or a listening ear, he was always ready to be there for others.
We take comfort in knowing that Dale Franklin Bickford, Jr. lived a life full of purpose, love, and gentle kindness. While we mourn his passing, we also rejoice in the knowledge that his life was well-lived and that his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Dale's journey on earth has ended, but the memories and love he shared will never fade.
