Dale Painter, 61, of Stow, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
Dale was born in Cleveland on December 3,1963, the son of Veronica and Kenneth Painter of Streetsboro, Ohio. He was a resident of Stow for the past 39 years.
Dale was an interesting person, being a jack of all trades. He could fix or build anything. He had many hobbies and interests, and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with those that were interested. Dale enjoyed old steam engines, antique tractors, old cars, motorcycles, woodworking, tending to his bees, machinery, boating, fishing, and music which he was open to listening to any kind. Dale also was a very avid reader of any subject and has an extensive library. He loved driving around in his Mazda Miata in the summer with the top down. He would often take his mom out driving to find new places and enjoy a dinner out. Dale was recently building a houseboat to take a cruise down the Ohio River and one day hoping to buy riverfront property to watch the boats go past. Dale also had a love for all animals, especially his dogs.
Dale had a big heart and would do anything for you. He loved his family and especially his nephews, who he was very proud of. Anyone could give him a call and he would be there to help and could show you an easier way to do anything. He could be sarcastic and a jokester at times but was also very caring about the people around him.
Dale was loved by many, and the family is very grateful to his neighbors that watched out for him and helped him with their kindness and generosity.
He is survived by his Mother Veronica; sister Anita Hanzlik (Tod); nephews, Paul Hanzlik, Jacob Hanzlik, and Zakry Painter.
Dale was preceded in death by his Father Kenneth; brother Keith Painter and brother and sister-in-law Donald and Lisa Painter.
