Funeral services for Dale Sexton are Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. and on Thursday 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Meridian Cemetery, Greenfield.
Mr. Sexton, 85 years old, died Monday, January 13, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll Co. He was born in McKenzie on February 22, 1939, to Robert Warren Sexton and Myrtle Allen Key. He is the co-owner of GSC Sign and Awning Business.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Williams Sexton, two sons Steve Sexton and Mike (Karen) Sexton all of Greenfield, a sister Alice Lindsley of McKenzie, three grandchildren Katie (Mathew) Thompson Matthew (Brittany) Sexton, Tyler (Hannah) Sexton, six great grandchildren Jase, Maddox, Tucker, Ellie, and twins on the way Charlie and Marley and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers James Sexton and Billy J. Sexton and two sisters Betty Joyce Delaney and Mary Margaret Adams.
