Dana Lynn Harvey, 51 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, July 28, 2025. She was born Monday, July 8, 1974 in Tylertown, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Tylertown Baptist Church, 409 Tyler Ave, Tylertown, MS 39667, from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM with Bro. Justin Knight and Bro. Mack McElveen officiating. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dana was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend of everyone who knew her. She was selfless and kindhearted; motivated and extremely dedicated to her job as a teacher where she served 7 years in Walthall County and 18 years in the Louisiana School Districts; where she recently received the 2025 Teacher of the Year award from Franklinton Elementary in Washington Parish.

She was preceded in death by her father Dan Harvey and brother Darrell Edward Hughes.

Survivors include her son, Brantley Vicknair (Laura); mother, Linda Pope Hughes and step-father, Edward Hughes ; brother, Patrick Harvey; sisters, Sharon Watson (David) and Sheila Holmes (William); ; sister-in-law, Michelle Harvey; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Peyton Harvey, Wesley Watson, Karl McCarthy, Dereck Blackwell, Sput Harvey, and Tanner Watson.
