Dane Rockwood, age 24, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS.
There will be a memorial service held for Dane at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Crowder Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Painter presiding. Anyone wishing to bring food for the family, please be aware of a peanut allergy.
Dane was born on January 16, 2001 to Michael Paul and Lea Ann Cosby Rockwood in Batesville, MS. He made a mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. His love for video gaming and computers, showcased not only his skills but also his boundless curiosity. Dane was a remarkable young man, always eager to learn about the latest advancements in electronics.
The family Dane leaves behind includes his parents, Michael Paul and Lea Ann Cosby Rockwood of Crowder, MS; three siblings, Madeline Cosby, Augustus Cosby, and Aiden Rockwood all of Crowder, MS; and his grandfather, Paul Rockwood.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Dennis Cosby; and his paternal grandmother, Vickie Rockwood.
