Mr. Daniel Eugene Bledsoe, age 85, of Todd passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 1, 2025 at Margate Health & Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.D. Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Bledsoe Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday; two hours prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Bledsoe was born in Ashe County on September 22, 1939 to the late Henry and Lennie Lewis Bledsoe. Daniel was a simple man but loved life and his family. He was a member of Blackburn's Tabernacle Church Daniel enjoyed watching westerns, but his favorite was Gunsmoke. He worked on pocket watches in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Polly Holman Bledsoe and Josephine Childers Bledsoe; a sister, Joyce Bledsoe; three brothers, Tom Bledsoe, Jay Bledsoe and Leroy Bledsoe.
Mr. Bledsoe is survived by: a son, Jason Bledsoe (Camara), of Wilkesboro; a daughter, Danielle Hahn (Richard), of West Jefferson; three brothers, Sonny Bledsoe, Charles Bledsoe, and Bobby Bledsoe all of Todd; two grandchildren, Cierra Bledsoe and Cayden Bledsoe; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Bledsoe Cemetery, C/O Allen Bledsoe, 8587 Three Top Road, Todd, NC 28684.
