Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & CrematoriumDaniel Pawlik, born on February 21, 1953, passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2025.
Daniel was the beloved son of Paul and the late Izydora Pawlik and grew up alongside his five siblings: Paula, Sandra, Gloria, Belinda, and Glenn. He was also the "outdoorsy" uncle to many nieces and nephews. He has been a lifelong resident to River Grove where his family is originally from and surrounded himself by.
A skilled diesel mechanic by trade, Daniel took pride in his work and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed fishing whenever he could and spent time at the shooting range. In earlier years, he participated in football and later golf, sports that brought him camaraderie and fulfillment.
Daniel had a deep appreciation for nature, particularly the beauty of mountains and lakes. He loved collecting rocks and found peace in the outdoors. It wasn't surprising to find Daniel outside throughout most of his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Kirstie Hadzic, whose mother is Kali Pawlik (fellow Packers fan). He is survived by his son-in law Emir Hadzic, who he was very fond of and his beloved granddaughter, Emma Lily Hadzic and soon to be grandson.
Daniel’s legacy lives on through his family and those who knew him. He had many friends that cherished him even in his darker final days.
May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
