Born in Irvington, Daniel was formerly a resident of Lodi before relocating to Lanoka Harbor in 2021. He worked for 25 years at Papillon Ribbon, retiring in 2020.
Daniel was a passionate foodie, a car enthusiast, and an avid sports fan. His favorite teams included the Jets, Yankees, and Devils.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Albert. Daniel is survived by his two children, Lauren Murphy and her husband Joe, and Joe Schwartzbach; his two grandchildren, Marissa and Benjamin; his sisters, Holly and Robin; and Sandra, the mother of his children.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River. Cremation was private.
