Brooksville-Daniel Eugene Willhite, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1940 to the late Golden and Julia (Erb) Willhite. He was a member of Powersville Christian Church and the Licking Valley Antique Machinery Association. He was a mechanic at Campbell County School System. He is survived by his wife, Genie (Scharber) Willhite whom he married August 21, 1965. He is also survived by his children, Melissa (George) Miller of Maysville, KY and Daniel Eugene (Emily) Willhite, Jr of Butler; four grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret "Peggy" Ray. Funeral will be 1 pm on Monday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville. Visitation will be 10-1 pm on Monday at the funeral home. There will be a private graveside service. Memorials may be made to Powersville Christian Church or National Kidney Foundation.
