Danny Ray Cook, Jr. was born on July 31, 1991, and he was called home on April 26, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy woven from the threads of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. For the past eight years, Danny dedicated himself to his work as a Hot Oil Operator for Action Production Services, where he was known for his diligent spirit and unwavering commitment to his craft.

Danny was a man who embraced life with open arms, fully immersing himself in the outdoors that he loved so dearly. Whether he was casting a line into the water while fishing, honing his BBQ grilling skills, or adventuring on his four-wheeler, often delighting in mudding, he found pure joy in nature's embrace. A life of the party, Danny's vibrant personality shone through in every gathering; he loved karaoke and dancing, sharing smiles and joy with everyone, fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends were of utmost importance to Danny. He had an extraordinary gift for being there for others—always ready to lend a helping hand without seeking anything in return. His loving nature extended beyond his immediate family, enveloping a wide circle of extended friends and relatives. Whether it was sharing laughter over good food or engaging in a friendly gamble while scratching lottery tickets, every moment spent with Danny was one steeped in warmth and affection.

Danny is survived by his devoted mother, Cynthia Cook and David; his beloved wife, Tiffney Cook; and his precious son, Caleb Cook. He was a cherished brother to Kelly Hernandez and her husband Cesar, Aaron Cook and Taryn, Jeanne Gardner and her husband Troy, and Danisha Cook. He also was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews: Cesar Jr., Aiden, Michael, Carson, Emily, Ayla, Ellie, Harper, Charlie, Leslie, and Koby. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he made sure they always felt loved.

He joins in memory his father, Danny Ray Cook, Sr., who preceded him in death. While he is no longer with us in body, Danny’s spirit continues to light the hearts of those he touched, a radiant reminder of joy, love, and the importance of family and friendship.

Honoring Danny as pallbearers are Aaron Cook, Cesar Hernandez, Cesar Hernandez Jr., Michael Alba, Nick Crockett, James Crockett, Chad Norsworthy, Emmett Cook, and  Dyllon Dunker. Honorary pallbearers are Caleb Cook, Dickie Austin, and Harvey Austin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, beginning at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Faith and Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Faith and Family Funeral Services with Pastor Phil Love officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services.

As we remember Danny, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness, generosity, and the vibrant zest for life that defined him. In every fishing trip, BBQ gathering, and karaoke night to come, Danny's laughter and love will resonate, forever embedded in our hearts.
