Darleen Sue Young Bradley, age 74, of Tellico Plains, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward (Bill) and Jewell Dean (Boots) Young; sister, Barbara Bradley; and step-son, Wayne Aaron Bradley.

Darleen was a devout woman of God who assisted in establishing a ladies group known as the Sister Circle, where women came from many different churches to fellowship together once a month. She enjoyed many outdoor activities, ranging from riding the motorcycle with her husband, to camping with her family. Darleen was also passionate about traveling. Some of her many life thrills included swimming alongside the manatees and kayaking with the alligators. Darleen loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Walter (Worm) Bradley; daughters and sons-in-law, Clarissa and Alan Hayes and Angel and Brian Rodgers; sons and daughter-in-law, Macklin and Crystal Best and Israel (IZ) Bradley; sisters, Glenise Morris and Janie Walker; brother, Rick Young; several grandkids and great grandkids; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friend Phyllis.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2025 at Tellico Plains Church of God with Pastor Jerry Dodd officiating and then proceed to Hunt Cemetery for the committal service. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
