Darlene Marie Bradley, age 94, took the ‘highway to heaven’ on July 13, 2025.
She was born on May 12, 1931, in Alliance, to Oscar and Helen (Warren) Hoffman.
Darlene graduated from Alliance High School in 1949 and one year later married John L. Bradley on May 7, 1950. She worked in data entry at Robertson’s Heating and Supply for 26 years until her retirement. Darlene was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ since she was a child. She was also a 75+ year member of Mile Branch Grange.
Darlene enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and entertaining her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Sherry (John) Fergason, and Tracy (Darrell) Jones; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Rich) Wilson, Bradley (Stephanie) Fergason, Jennifer (Lee) Gonzalez, Natalie (Justin) Eicher, Nicholas Voican, Carli (Brad) Schrecengost, Tyler (Meghan) Jones, and Alyssa (Austin) Szink; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roger Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and a daughter, Connie Bradley Voican.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, July 21st at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kim Mitchell, Darlene’s private care giver of two and a half years, at 13483 Beeson St., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
