Darlene Mae (Gee) Hall, age 86 passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her home in Morgantown.
Darlene was born August 30, 1938, in Peoga, to her parents, the late Carl Dale and Hazel Mae (Parmerlee) Gee. She was a 1956 graduate of Trafalgar High School later that year married Martin D. Hall on August 31st in Trafalgar. They were blessed with 4 children and 68 devoted years of marriage.
Darlene retired from the Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson School Corporation in 2000 after 24 years of service as a Matron for Trafalgar Elementary. Darlene was a former member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Trafalgar. She enjoyed creating ceramics, raising cattle with her husband and taking care of her family. Darlene will be remembered most for her generous spirit and unwavering love for her family.
Darlene will be missed by her husband, Martin Hall of Morgantown; children, Doug (Marie) Hall, Montie Hall, Candace Hall all of Morgantown and Rick (Tammy) Hall of Whiteland; grandchildren, Danielle (Todd) Burchell, Maegan (Robert) Otten, Brent (Liz) Walker, Elizabeth (Michael) Williams, Jordan Hall, Allen (Heather) Hall, Miranda (Garrett) Meadows and Veronica Whitted; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judith Goodwin of Florida, Jennifer Overton and DeAnna Macdonald both of Georgia, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Janet Marie, Dale and Donald Gee and grandson, Jason Hall.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1st at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home: 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
