David Davis Obituary
David Arthur Davis was born in Slater, South Carolina on February 16, 1937, and died July 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Rogan Davis and Ellen Barrett Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife Angela MacAlister Davis and grandson Grayson Davis. He is survived by his daughter Robin D. Brooks (Bob), Sandra D. Page (Doug, deceased), Todd C. Davis (Ashley), Andrea D. Bunger (Rob); Jennifer D Labud (Ed), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
David joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 16. Following his time in the Navy, he moved to Marathon, Florida. In Marathon he went to work for Florida Keys Electric Cooperative where he worked for more than 20 years. In the early 1980’s he started his own very successful business, David Davis Electric in Key Largo, Florida. Upon retirement he moved to Arcadia, Florida., and later Bastrop, Texas.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was cherished by all and will be greatly missed.
There will be a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
