David E. Jackson, 63, of Aurora, IN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
He was born on June 20, 1962, in Hamilton, OH, the son of the late Joseph Jackson and Marlene (Lynch) Jackson.
David worked as a dump truck driver for many years. Known for his great sense of humor and warm spirit, he had a gift for making people laugh and always brought a smile to those around him.
David is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly (Stratman) Jackson; his son, Michael Jackson; and his cherished grandchildren, Samantha Mae Jackson, Madison Lynn Jackson, and David Edward Joseph Jackson. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis (Judy) Jackson; sisters, Carolyn (Gary) Courter, and Sharon Probst; sister-in-law, Jane Jackson; brother-in-law, Butch Richards; and his mother and father-in-law, Harold and Cindy Stratman. David leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marlene Jackson; his son, David E. Jackson; his sisters, Brenda Jackson, Barbara Richards and Donna Wingate; his brother, Joseph "Joey" Jackson; cousin Conley Fleek
Friends will be received on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana, 47001.
A funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Kenneth Hopper.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (Cincinnati, Ohio).
