David Miller Obituary

David E. Miller, 77, passed away February 28, 2025. He was the husband of Donna L. Miller with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. Born in York, PA on October 4, 1947, he was the son of the late Elwood S. and Helen (Ruppert) Miller.
David retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service. He was a truck driver for D.M. Bowman for 25 years. David loved nature and enjoyed fishing, canoeing, the mountains and the beach. He was an avid Penn State football fan. He liked going to car shows and he very much enjoyed any kind of chicken. David loved the Bible, Bible studies and his family. He will be greatly missed.
David leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Donna; children, Matthew Miller, Kayla Miller, Andy Miller and Rick Miller; grandchildren, Kowen Cressler, Josh Miller, Mickayla Miller, Jeannie Miller and Felicity Miller; great grandchildren, David Miller, Haley Miller, Jacob Miller and Dominick David Miller-Sears; siblings, Irene Flinchbaugh. David was preceded in death by brother, Elwood Miller (Snup).
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Quickel Lutheran Church, 60 Canal Road, York, Pa 17406. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Sam Hackenburg officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.
