David Rochelle, age 65 of Nunnelly, Tennessee, passed away at his home on July 27, 2025. David was born in Belleville, Michigan, to the late Paul and Betty Wheeler Rochelle. In 2012, David took a leap of faith and started his own business, Rochelle's Painting and Pressure Washing. David didn't just paint-he restored warmth, brought new beginnings and left behind color and comfort in every job he did. In his spare time David enjoyed fishing and especially fishing with his family and spending time with his fur baby's Thumper & Bud. Fishing wasn't a hobby for him-it was part of who he was. It was about the early mornings, and the stories that came with the ones that got away and the ones that didn't. Some of his best advice came from sitting in jon boat or standing knee deep in water. But his most cherished days were spent alongside family with nothing but a tacklebox and time. In addition to his parents David is preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Bowden and brother-in-law Thomas Hudie. Those left to cherish his memory are his son Dave Rochelle of Michigan, sister Sandra Hudie of Michigan and stepchildren Cora Russell of Nunnelly, Tennessee, Samantha Bolen of St. Joseph, Tennessee, Cody Collins (Mary Crowell) of Nunnelly, Tennessee, grandchildren Rayleigh Russell, Ryan Watson, Ryver Russell and Izzy Cisterna. His life was grounded in the love he had for his family. The family kindly asks for donations to help offset funeral expenses. Contributions can be made to McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee. McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee, is honored to be serving the Rochelle Family during this difficult time.
