Dawn Davis Obituary

Dawn Elizabeth Davis, age 63, passed away at Nanticoke Hospital on Sunday, July 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 29, 1962, in Wilmington, Delaware to her parents, David S. Cauffman and Mary E. Baker (Swift). Dawn attended Christiana High School graduating in 1980. Following her education, Dawn worked as a medical biller for numerous companies including Cigna and Delaware Eye Care. Growing up, Dawn enjoyed roller skating, which she did competitively as well as bowling. She also loved watching movies and singing Karaoke. Her go-to song was "Top of the World" by the Carpenters. Dawn was fun, fiercely loving, and protective of her family. She spent many fun-filled moments playing games with friends and family, reminiscing, and laughing. Survivors include her father David S. Cauffman and step-mother Susanna E. Tice of Hockessin, DE; son Bryan M. Roberts of Newark, DE; son Brandon W. (Kelly) Cale of Clayton, DE; daughter Amber N. Roberts of Newark, DE; sister Dorothy J. Finney of Newark, DE; brother Matthew S. (Corrine) Cauffman of Lewes, DE; and 7 grandchildren. Dawn was predeceased by her beloved mother Mary E. Baker (Swift) and brother Andrew D. Cauffman. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
