Dawn Marie Everix, age 67, of Kaukauna, WI, unexpectedly passed away at her home on May 29, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1957 in Chilton, WI to Jerome and Alyce (Welch) Everix.
Dawn spent many years working in manufacturing before returning to school to earn her Associate’s Degree in Medical Transcription. She was known in many ways: by some as a loving mother and grandmother, by others as a biker and a partier, and to a few, a free-spirited hippie. Above all, Dawn lived a simple and fulfilling life, often keeping to herself but devoted to those she loved.
She especially enjoyed knitting, creating cherished items for her beloved grandchildren, who meant the world to her. Dawn took immense pride in her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments and milestones with quiet joy and unwavering love.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Stan; her children, Nathan (Amy) Herrick, Janet (Tony) Reinke, and Brian Herrick; her grandchildren, Zachery, Austin, and Molly Reinke, and Livie and Mason Herrick; her brother, Perry (Dawn) Everix; her nephews, Chandler, Jack, and Tyler Everix, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Alyce Everix; her brother, Danny; and many aunts and uncles.
In accordance with Dawn’s wishes, she will be cremated. An informal celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her favorite hangout:
