Deborah L. Gillig, age 68 of Talbott passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 after a lingering illness. She loved gardening, riding motorcycles and traveling. Preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Shirley Williams, Sr. Deborah is survived by her husband, Elwood (Woody) Gillig; children, Michael (Robin) Parker, William (Stephanie) Parker, Amanda (Jamie) Phillips, Elisha Vega, Eric Gillig, Erin Wagar; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Glen Williams, Jr. A special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice, Ashley K., and Kaylee Whittaker for their loving care. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
