Deborah Labine Obituary

Deborah dedicated her career to caring for others, as a devoted Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and as a nursing home technician. A woman of diverse interests and talents, Deborah was cherished by her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Deborah's vivaciousness extended to her hobbies; she was an enthusiast of firearms, writing, reading, and she particularly enjoyed the works of Stephen King. Her fondness for his books went beyond just reading, as she once penned a heartfelt letter to the author, expressing the impact of his storytelling on her life.
Deborah made everyone she encountered feel loved and valued. Her home was one of open arms and an open heart, where friends, family, and her cherished pets always found comfort. Among her menagerie of animals, a pet skunk named Lucky held a special place in her heart.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Arthur Labine, children: Aaron Pfeifer, Ted Pfeifer, Robin Bush, step daughter, Leaha Baker, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and special nephew, Michael. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ted Degroff.

Hollywood FL 1970 who would have thought I was about to meet Deb & she was going to be my best friend for the next 55 years. No words can describe the pain of losing you. I carry your heart with me.
