Debra Lee Brown passed away in the early hours of August 2nd. She was born July 12, 1954 in Ogden UT and adopted to loving parents Leland and Lois Brown. In 1982, Debby welcomed her first child, Camy Lee; and her second, TJ in 1985 with then husband Timothy Thompson. While Debby wasn't particularly lucky in love, anyone who knew her can tell you her true love was her children. Debby always cherished being a mother, even through the difficult times. In 1995, Debby was diagnosed with Relapsing and Remitting progressive Multiple Sclerosis. The disease was fierce, but she was strong, she was determined and she was loved. Through family, humility, friendships, community and the strongest display of will power we'd ever seen…she never, ever gave up. Debby was also an active member of the LDS church and enjoyed serving in many church callings, attending the temple with her mother, and general conference sessions. Debby's smile was infectious and she made many friends over the years. Her family would like to thank everyone for loving and supporting her. Special 'thank you' to the staff at Monument Heath Taylorsville both past and present and the staff of Quality Home Health and Hospice. She is survived by her four siblings, Rebecca (Delwyn) Roper, Kendall (Stacie) and Randall Brown and Cathy York. Her children; Camy (Denyce) Thompson and T.J (Parker) Thompson and 3 grandchildren (Jasper, Harley and Dylan). Proceeded in death by her parents Leland and Lois, grandfather Charles Schumacher and many others we're sure she is enjoying much deserved time with. The Viewing will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug 9, 2025 at Serenity Funeral Home, 13863 S 2700 W, Bluffdale, Utah. The Funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 S Vine St, Murray, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.serenityfhs.com
