Kerry Wayne Kepford, 71, of Neodesha, KS, passed away at home on September 3, 2023.  Kerry Kepford was born on November 25, 1951, in Winfield, KS, to Bobby Gene Morgan and Betty Lorraine Gurnee.

Kerry Kepford grew up in Winfield, KS until the age of 14, when the family decided to move to Springfield, Mo.  In 1970, Kerry decided to enlist the U.S. Army.  It was there that he earned his GED.  He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1978.  Kerry then decided he wanted to serve his country in a different setting and so he joined the Navy in 1979.  He completed his Naval Submarine School and spent most of his time in the Navy in the submarines.   Kerry retired from the Navy with an honorable discharge in 1991.

After retirement, Kerry spent his time in Goose Creek, SC, until in 1995, when he decided to move to Neodesha, KS to be closer to family.  He shared his kindness, his love, and his passion for everything he did with family.  He was so proud of his military achievements and loved sharing his stories with family and friends.   Kerry certainly showed his love and devotion to his family.  He loved a good joke, whether it was on him or him doing it.   He would do anything for his family and everyone knew Kerry was always there for them no matter what. Kerry was a great source of intelligence, his mind worked in great ways, and he knew more than the average person.  He was a role model for all of us.  Kerry lived his years in Neodesha, KS until his death.

Kerry was preceded in death by:
