Denise Renee Itson, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, in Murrieta, California, on her 72nd birthday. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on January 24, 1953, Denise lived a life characterized by her loving nature, her friendly demeanor, and her boundless creativity.
Denise was the cherished mother of Valarie Shaw-Russell and Heather Manley. She was a guiding light and a source of unwavering support for her eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who will carry the warmth of her love and the lessons she imparted with them always. Denise was a beloved sister to Gail, Deborah, Michelle, and Kim, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond and countless treasured memories. She is also survived by her Partner in Life, Todd Stairs "her man Angel", whom they shared 12 years together. They did everything together.
For most of her adult life, Denise dedicated herself to caring for others as a caregiver. In this role, she touched the lives of many, providing comfort and compassion in times of need. Her natural empathy and kindness made her a cherished figure in the lives of those she cared for and their families.
Denise's interests were a reflection of her creative spirit. She found joy in crafting, often spending hours intricately making jewelry that sparkled with her artistic touch. Her drawings were a testament to her talent, capturing the beauty she saw in the world around her. Collecting rocks, she marveled at the stories they told, each unique in its history and formation. Denise's love for the outdoors was also evident in her passion for horseback riding, an activity that brought her peace and connected her to nature's wonders.
Those who knew Denise will remember her for the love she poured into every aspect of her life. Her friendly smile was a source of comfort to friends and strangers alike, and her creative soul found expression in every endeavor she undertook. Denise lived her life with a generosity of spirit that inspired those around her to embrace life with the same enthusiasm and kindness.
As we bid farewell to Denise, we reflect on a life well-lived and a legacy of love and creativity that will continue to resonate through the generations. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
We take comfort in knowing that Denise's story does not end with her passing, for the impact of her life continues to ripple through the lives of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her presence. Her spirit, a blend of warmth and creativity, will be lovingly remembered and celebrated as we hold her close in our thoughts and in our hearts.
In the quiet moments when we find ourselves missing her, we will look to the beauty in the world-a piece of jewelry, a drawing, a rock, or the grace of a horse-and we will remember Denise Renee Itson, whose love and creativity made our world a brighter, more beautiful place.
