Dennis Grebner Obituary

Dennis Alan Grebner, 79, Hamilton, MO, passed at his home surrounded by his loved ones on July 14, 2025. Dennis moved to Hamilton in 1978 from Humboldt, Iowa.
Dennis was born on November 25, 1945, in Fort Dodge, IA, to Howard A. and Pauline C. (George) Grebner. He grew up in Iowa and graduated from the Humboldt High School in 1964. Dennis worked and retired as a self-employed appliance repairman, and he worked also in the past for True Value and Western Auto. He enjoyed farming.
Spoonbill fishing in Warsaw, MO, was his passion. He also enjoyed fishing in local ponds in the area. Dennis was a member of the Northwest Missouri Gas & Steam Engine Association and enjoyed his time at the fairgrounds right next to his home.
Preceding Dennis in death were his parents, his brother, Brian; his sister, Lou Ann; his brother-in-law, Gerald Larson; and his favorite dog, Shelby.
On February 13, 1965, Dennis married Peggy Little in Fort Dodge. Peggy survives of the home.
Additional survivors include his children-Shelly (Dave) Ledden, Country Club Village, MO; and Steven (Kim) Grebner, Hamilton; 7 grandchildren-Adam (Jennifer), Meghan (Alex), Christian (Lindsay), Kayla (Steven), Steven, Tristan and Kevin; 3 step-grandchildren-Emily, Hannah (Dylan) and Olivia; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-Cheryl Larson, Algona, IA; and 2 brothers-Kevin, Humboldt, IA, and Stan (Faith), Cross Timbers, MO.
Funeral Service: Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 2 p.m., at the Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.
Formal Visitation: 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 1 to 2 p.m., on Thursday, July 17.
Cremation to follow the service.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Caldwell County Foundation Cancer Assistance Fund in care of the funeral home.
