Coach Johnson, I can still remember how you looked at us, like you knew we were up to something, but never said a word, just gave us that look and we would be put right back in our place...You really did care a lot about your students. I do believe those who had you will always remember you as their coach at Landon!!! You Rocked!!! The Lord has his hands around you now and you are at peace. My condolences to your family. Coach Johnson was hard-nosed, straight up, and a good and decent man who had a positive influence on a lot of young lives during his time. I'm grateful to have been a student He was a good man, may he rest in peace.

He was my Jr. high coach & 40+ years later I still have a good mental picture of him taking role and grading us each day on our appearance as we dressed out for gym class. Tough as nails, by the book, and fit as a fiddle. RIP Coach Johnson

So sorry to hear this! He was a wonderful teacher, tough, compassionate and kind. They don't make them like that anymore!

Dearest Shirley, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. You and Bob welcomed us to the Gator Club when we first arrived at Angie's, inviting us to join you at your table. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing your stories about past football game trips, RV adventures, and Bob's Gator football days! Many times while watching the games, we would wonder, 'what would Bob say about that play?' One of our favorite memories was watching the game together at the viewing party at Fast Boy's Wings on the waterfront. As much as we will all miss him, I can assure everyone that he'll be watching this fall with much interest, and hopefully, giving the Gators a little help! We love you!
