Dennis Ray Minor 75 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at his home.
Dennis was born June 28, 1950, in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Dewey Coleman Minor and Rennie Lorene (King) Minor. He was a draftsman for John J. Guth Associates in Shreveport, Louisiana for 3 years. He was a draftsman and designer for Firestone Coated Fabric/Amfuel in Magnolia for 18 years and was a draftsman for Trull-Hollensworth Architects in Magnolia for 21 years. Dennis was a member of College View Baptist Church and a member of the Columbia County Hayride where he sang, played rhythm guitar and was an MC.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; wife Regina Lynn Stroman Minor; and infant son Travis Brandon Minor.
Dennis is survived by his brother Glen Minor and wife Betty of White Hall, Arkansas; sister Gale Sherwood and husband Sam of Springhill, Louisiana; niece Lisa Gale Cook and husband David of Bossier City, Louisiana; nephews Aaron Sherwood of Springhill, Lance Stroman and wife Savanah in the United States Air Force; great niece Kaya Elaine Cook and great nephew Adriel James Cook both of Bossier City Louisiana; and great nephew Eli Stroman; and sister in law Becky Stroman of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Bullock officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc, in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to College View Baptist Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Red Cross, or the USO.
