Dennis Wright Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Dennis J.
Wright, who passed away peacefully on May 23rd, 2025, at the age of 67. He was in the
company of his son and daughter.
Dennis was born on May 25th, 1957, in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, and later moved to
Eagle, Wisconsin, where he lived the remainder of his life. He married the love of his
life, Debie (Debra Rozek), on June 1st, 1985. He had a diverse career, working in
various roles from the police force to eventually retiring as a heavy equipment operator
in the summer of 2017.
While he didn't mind the slower pace of retirement, Dennis truly enjoyed the fast-paced
excitement of NASCAR races. He also loved playing games and spending time with his
family and grandchildren, which often involved sharing a good meal.
Dennis was a loving son and brother, a devoted husband and father, and a supportive
friend. However, his favorite role was undoubtedly "Big Grandpa." If you knew Dennis,
you knew he was a "big" guy, and his sense of humor was just as "big." He cherished
being surrounded by the laughter, jokes, and noise of his grandchildren (and grand-
pups). These were the moments that brought him the most joy.
Dennis is predeceased by his late wife, Debie (Debra Rozek), his mother, Marjorie
Wright (Koch), and his father, DeEstin Wright. He is survived by his son, Skyler (Lauren)
Wright; his daughter, Kaytlyn (Josh) Badciong; his stepson, Michael McGraw; his
brother, Lloyd (Judy and family) Wright; and his grandchildren, DeEstin (DJ) and
Landon Wright, Dylan and Charleigh Badciong, and Ayden and Kyler McGraw.
We choose to remember Dennis as the fun-loving and comical individual he was. He
always had a joke in his back pocket to make anyone laugh, or a secret box of cookies
to sneak to the grandchildren. Even in his last moments, he was able to twist a sad
situation into a few last laughs, leaving us with a final memory of who dad really was.
He will be sorely missed by all who loved him. A celebration of Dennis's life will be held
on June 21, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at Gibson Funeral Home in Eagle, Wisconsin.
