“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose”
Dennis (Denny) Gene Bartlett, of Winnebago, MN, passed away July 13, 2025 at his home following an extended illness. Denny was surrounded by those he loved. Denny cherished his family, wife, Jonelle, children Zac (Amy) Bartlett, Cassidy Bartlett and his two grandchildren Trafton and Lennen.
Denny was 1 of 13 children born in Easton, MN to Lewis and Marjorie (Graber) Bartlett. He attended and graduated from Delavan High School and was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years. Denny and Jonelle were married for 32 years.
Denny was employed at various jobs during his life but wasn’t truly content until he became an owner operator for Bago Truckin’. Denny was an owner operator for 27 years until he was sadly forced to retire due to health concerns.
The true joy of Denny’s life was his family. Being self-employed allowed Denny to do the one thing he loved most and that was to be with his family. In the end, Trafton and Lennen brought him the most joy. They filled his heart and were the force that continued his fight to live. There will forever be a huge void in the family but we are thankful knowing Denny is no longer suffering.
"Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow."
