Destiney McClure, 26, of Frankfort, passed away on October 10, 2025, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on March 18, 1999, to Brandi Endicott and Michael Metler, and they survive.
Destiney grew up in Crawfordsville and attended Southmont High School. In 2024, she moved to Colfax, where she continued to share her light with those around her. She had a deep love for singing, writing, and helping both people and animals. Destiney had a way of lighting up every room she entered—sassy and strong-willed, yet endlessly generous and fiercely protective of the people she loved, especially her siblings. She was beautiful inside and out, and her spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Destiney is survived by her stepdad, William Ross of Crawfordsville; grandparents, Christine and Ralph Schocke of New Ross; sisters, Winter Hocquard of Thorntown, Autumn Hocquard of Crawfordsville, and Justice Ward; brother, Nicolas Ward; aunt, Misty McClure of Indianapolis; uncle, Earl McClure of Crawfordsville; along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery.
