Diane Marie Baugham, 68, of Missoula, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at St. Patrick Hospital, of natural causes.
Diane was born on January 31, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the age of 3, she was adopted by Edwin and Jeannette Baugham. As a young girl, Diane lived with her family in Invergrove Heights, Minnesota and was educated in public schools. She graduated from Simley High School then moved to Red Lake, Texas with her parents. In 2002, Diane moved to Missoula, Montana, with her mother, after the passing of her father.
In Missoula, Diane met the love of her life, David Clarke. Dave proceeded Diane in death in Missoula on June 24, 2023. Diane and Dave met at Opportunity Resources and worked and lived together for over 20 years, in a loving and happy relationship, with many friends and fabulous adventures.
Diane enjoyed watching movies and Hallmark TV shows and going out to great restaurants with her friends when she wasn't being taken care of by the fabulous Missoula Manor dining staff (and residents) who made sure Diane got her eight daily hugs (as prescribed by Caregiver Christi Gardner). Diane loved friends, stuffed animals, flowers, mountains and life.
Diane is survived by her cousins Richard Darling (Sonoita, AZ) (wife Mary); Virginia Briner (Husband Garry) (Columbia Falls, MT; and Jeanette Decock (Husband Maurice) (Castroville, TX); Dave's sisters, Caren Clarke and Donna Barragan; and many Missoula friends that were as close as family including Christi Gardner, Cheryl Howe, Marie Schmidt-Garrett. James Howe, and Austin Teel.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, July 10th from 11 am to 1:30 pm at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula at 1705 West Broadway. Lunch will be provided.
