Diane Grey Taylor Turnley, 63, wife of Matthew Stratton Turnley, passed away Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, at her home.
Born on September 29, 1961, she was the daughter of Sybil Grey Taylor and the late Marion Stacey Taylor. Mrs. Turnley was a graduate of East Carolina University and a beloved, retired art teacher having worked in various Georgetown County schools. Her love for children and art led her to teach at various art camps during the summer months. Mrs. Turnley had a great love for children, the beach, art and expressing her creativity. Later in life, Mrs. Turnley used her uniqueness to design floral arrangements as a beloved team member at Carolina Charm.
Survivors include her husband and mother of Georgetown; two brothers, Greg Taylor (Debbie) of Covington, VA and Darryl Taylor (Cathy) of Surf City, NC; two nephews, Joshua Taylor (Melanie) of Covington, VA and Anthony Taylor (Molly) of Beaufort, NC; a special friend, Cori Dawson of Georgetown; and numerous cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marshall Turnley.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at New Hope Fellowship Church, 649 Squire Rd. Andrews, SC 29510.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
