The Lord, in His perfect timing, welcomed Dianne West Dalton home on July 15,2025 at the age of 82. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Wilma West; brothers, Russell West, and Donald Clyde (Tony) West; daughter-in-law, Pamela Dalton; and special nephew, Mark West.

Dianne was born on January 31, 1943 in Epperson, Tennessee to Wilma and Clyde West. A devoted follower of Christ, she lived a life marked by faith, kindness, and service to others. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and a cherished member of Epperson Church, where she faithfully worshiped and served for many years.

Throughout her life, Dianne shared the love of Christ to everyone, always offering a listening ear, a warm smile, and a helping hand. She never missed a chance to bring laughter with her quick wit and joyful spirit. Dianne found joy in painting, singing hymns, and studying the Bible but above all, in the presence of family and in the promises of God.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Doug Dalton; children and spouses, Brett Dalton, Jana and Derrick Watson, Kerry Dalton, and Paige and Justin Wear; grandchildren, Holden Britton, Bekah Britton, Katlyn Dalton, Lily and Sam Shadden, Lauren Wear, Caroline Wear, Seth Watson, McKinley Wear, and Anna Wear; great-granddaughter, Wrenly; and soon-expected great-grandson, Archie; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Ruth West; sisters, Jane Edwards, Freida Reed, and Martha Rachal; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Calvin and Judy Dalton, and Carol Roberts; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Carol Stephenson. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and her caregivers, Maryanna and Martha.

We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of our Savior, and we look forward to the day when we will meet again in Glory.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Epperson Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Lane Stephenson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Epperson Cemetery, Friday, July 18, 2025 for the 11:00 a.m. committal service with Rev. B.J. Wall officiating.
