Dinah Lynn Cross, 62, of Nashville, Tennessee departed this life on July 23, 2025. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 5, 1962, to Sam Cross and Exie (Hammitt) Cross. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil Andrew Brooks and James Brooks; and sisters, Jeanette Moore, Sandra Stafford, and Teresa Brannon; and brother-in-law, Danny Stafford. She was a social butterfly and just enjoyed being around people. She loved cooking and watching cooking shows. She enjoyed trying out new restaurants and loved going on road trips and listening to Christian music. She absolutely loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She also loved animals and her sweet dog, Millie Belle. She leaves behind her loving fiancé, Eric Harrison who took great care of her, like a husband would, the last year of her life; brother, William Ray Brooks; sisters, Colleen Jackson, Janice McGowan (Ron), Constance Taite (Vincent); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 5pm at New Life Apostolic Church with Nathan Batson officiating.
