Dinah Elayne Miner, born July 14, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Roy and Wanda (Pryor) Faulkner, Elayne lived a life filled with faith, family, and joy. She graduated from Viburnum High School in 1981 and furthered her education at Mineral Area College, earning an associate degree.
Elayne was married to Timothy Miner and through that marriage one son was born, Shawn. She was later blessed with four amazing grandchildren whom she enjoyed making memories with. She also adored her four great-grandchildren and was looking forward to the arrival of two more.
Elayne dedicated thirty-five years of her life to Doe Run Resource Company as a raw materials assistant, a testament to her hard work and dedication.
Beyond her professional life, Elayne possessed a vibrant spirit. She was known for her sweet personality and infectious enthusiasm, particularly when indulging in her passions: shopping, yard sales, and photography. Many remember her fondly as the "paparazzi" on bus tours, capturing cherished memories along the way. She especially enjoyed taking her grandson, Mikey, on fishing trips to Montauk.
A woman of deep faith, Elayne's beautiful voice often filled the air as a song leader at Lookout Assembly of God Church. As a young child and teenager, she attended Hickory Grove Assembly. She loved listening to gospel music and attending gospel music concerts where she showed her love for her Savior.
Elayne, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on April 11, 2025, in Salem, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years. She is survived by her loving parents: Roy and Wanda (Pryor) Faulkner of Bixby, MO; son: Shawn Miner and wife Andrea of Bunker, MO; sisters: Christina Crocker and husband Stacey of Howes Mill, MO and Leticia Faulkner of Bixby, MO; grandchildren: Catherine Coleman and husband Alex of Steelville, MO, Jessica Phipps and husband Adam of Steelville, MO, Kara Miner and fiancé Braydon Lease of Bixby, MO, and Shawn Michael Miner of Bunker, MO; great-grandchildren: Layla, Emilia, Lucille, Colt, and two on the way; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents: Lorian and Velma Pryor and Irvin and Bessie Faulkner.
Elayne's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her. Her kindness, faith, and sweet spirit will be deeply missed.
