Don Alan Meyers, age 94, of Arcadia, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Riverview Hospital. Don was born in Arcadia on February 24, 1930, to the late Wallace and Lois (Kemp) Meyers.
Don attended Walnut Grove High School and was a part of the graduating class of 1948. Don was a hard worker and spent 30 years working for the United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, and he was a lifetime Member of the Freemasons, currently under the Noblesville Masonic Lodge #57. Don was a simple man but had one of the kindest souls around, he could make anyone smile. He loved Purdue Basketball and all local Hamilton Heights Sports. Don was also never too shy to attend a Chili supper or Chicken Noodle Dinner at one of the local churches.
Don is survived by his sister, Norma Meyers, niece-in-law, Kim Meyers of Indianapolis, IN, great-niece, Rebekah (Timothy) Orto of Indianapolis, IN
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace & Lois Meyers, brother, Merrill Meyers, and niece, Mary Ann Meyers.
A time for visitation will be Thursday, February 29, 2024, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 W Jackson Street, Cicero IN, 46036. A private family burial will immediately follow visitation at the Arcadia Brethren Cemetery.
