Donald Gensley Obituary

He was born November 24, 1941, in Detroit, the son of the late Glen and Erika Gensley.
He was married to Helen Thompson. They spent 40 years together until her passing.
Donald worked as a carpenter most of his life, but he was also a firefighter in the state of New Mexico while living out West. He enjoyed woodworking and being a motorcycle mechanic.
Surviving are his daughter, Erika (Patrick) Magoon; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Abigail; a great-grandchild, Addison; stepchildren, Carl, David, Sabrina, Shirley, and their children, as well as many friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph and a brother, Eric Gensley.
At this time there are no services for Donald. The family has entrusted cremation arrangements to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
