Donald "Redbud" Lee Hutchison, Jr. 67 of Byesville, passed away on Friday (August 1, 2025) at Embassy of Cambridge after a brief battle with cancer.

Donald was born February 26, 1958. He was the late son of Donald and Nancy (Porter) Hutchison Sr. He attended Cambridge High School, class of '76.

Donald worked several jobs over the years including working as an orderly at the State Hospital and several oilfield jobs.

He had a deep love for classic cars, motorcycles, women, and rock -n-roll.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Roxanne "Beth" (Rice) Hutchison, whom he married August 25th 1984; and a sister, Mary Jane Hutchison.

Those left to cherish his memories are his three daughters, Elizabeth (Jay) Alfman, Nancy (Tom) Glidden, and Dawn Leeann Hutchison; and two sons, Donald (Tara) Hutchison and Robert David Hutchison. He had several grandchildren including Elizabeth, Ryan, Ana, Stevie, Dallas, Cyrus, Riley, Rachael, Remmy, Romeo, Mya, Maylee, and Mary Jane; and a great-grandchild, Dylan. He is also survived by many friends, including several he made at Embassy.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of Guernsey and Embassy of Cambridge for their care of Donald in his last few months of life. A special thank you for the friendship of the certain people he met at Embassy.

Per Donald's wishes a cremation has been chosen without calling hours or visitation. Thank you to Black-Epperson Funeral Home for assisting with arrangements.
