Donald was born on October 14, 1959, in Hope, Arkansas to his parents, J.W. and Mary Moody. He had a lifetime passion for ranching and hunting. He was also a member of Southside Baptist Church and worked for 48 years at Pilgrim's Pride.
He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Linda Sue Oller; and nephew, David Lynn Oller.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 41 years, Donna Moody; son, William Chad Moody (Tiffany); daughter, Jamie Martin (Neal); two grandchildren, Taylor Moody, Mason Moody; mother, Mary Moody; brother, Ronnie Moody (Karen); niece Crystal Gray (John); nephew, Daniel Oller (Tabitha).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donald's memory to Hospice of Texarkana. 2407 Galleria Oaks, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
A memorial visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Daniel Bramlett officiating.
