MR. DONALD F. TOMBLIN (DUCK), AGE 77, OF VERDUNVILLE, WV PASSED AWAY ON JULY 14TH AT HIS RESIDENCE SURROUNDED BY HIS LOVING FAMILY. HE WAS BORN JANUARY 18, 1948 IN LOGAN COUNTY, A SON OF THE LATE BILLY (BILL) TOMBLIN AND NOLA BRYANT TOMBLIN ADKINS. DONALD WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE CAROLYN TOMBLIN, TWO BROTHERS, JAMES (JIMMY) TOMBLIN, ODELL TOMBLIN, TWO SISTERS MARY LOU TOMBLIN TETER, BRENDA (BB) TOMBLIN BRYANT. TWO BROTHER-IN- LAWS, JAMES TETER, AGIE BRYANT.
DONALD WAS A MEMBER OF MUDFORK FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH AND A COAL MINER. HE ENJOYED RIDING TRUCKS, DUNE BUGGIES, 4 WHEELERS, SIDE BY SIDES AND CAMPING WITH HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
DONALD IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE SHARON BRYANT TOMBLIN, ONE SON, DONALD (DJ) TOMBLIN JR. (LISA ADKINS), ONE DAUGHTER, TRISTA MCNEELY, TWO STEP- DAUGHTERS, AMELIA (ANTHONY) POTTER, ASHLEY (SARAH) STAMPER. ONE DAUGHTER-IN- LAW, DONNA GAIL TOMBLIN. THREE GRANDSONS, SCOTTY (SHAWNA) TOMBLIN, BILLY TOMBLIN (TRISTA ADAMS), AND ETHAN MCNEELY, THREE STEP GRANDSONS, PEYTON PULLEY, HUNTER POTTER, SVEN STAMPER, THREE STEP GRANDAUGHTERS, BRINLY STAMPER, AMIRA PULLEY AND KEHLANI STAMPER. THREE GREAT GRANDSONS, PARKER, EMMETT, AND BOONE 2 GREAT GRANDAUGHTERS, EDEN, AND MADELINE (MADDY) AND ONE STEP GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER, ARYA ADAMS. HE ALSO LEAVES BEHIND A HOST OF NIECES, NEPHEWS, COUSINS AND FRIENDS.
FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 1 P.M. FRIDAY, JULY 18, 2025, AT MUDFORK FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH, VERDUNVILLE, WV WITH PASTOR ELBERT COLLINS, JR. AND BROTHER DAVID MCCLOUD OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN TOMBLIN CEMETARY IN VERDUNVILLE, WV. VISITATION WILL BE 2 HOURS BEFORE SERVICE.
PALLBEARERS WILL BE: TIMMY BRYANT, DARRELL BRYANT, IRA JOE BRYANT, DELANO BRYANT, MILAN BRYANT AND ROY GLEN BRYANT.
