Donna Marie Wheeler was born April 26, 1955, in Alton, MO, and passed away peacefully at her home in Thayer, MO, surrounded by family on July 8, 2025, at the age of 70.
Donna married Junior Roberts, who survives her, in Billmore, MO, on June 29, 1974. To this union three daughters were born.
Survivors include: three daughters, Tami (Geoff) DuBois of Thayer, Traci (Greg Myers) Roberts of Thayer, and Tina (Randy) McClanahan of Alton; grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Jathan, Heath, Zeb, Keera, Jake, Jessa, Kyndall, Sadie, Remi, Madison, and Olivia; sister, Joanne (Ron) Wheeler; loving companion, Jack Wright; niece, Devin Wheeler; nephews, Rick Wright and Randy Wright; sisters-in-law, Cookie Patterson, Lisa Blume, and Linda Wheeler; mother-in-law, Susie Roberts; and many other cousins, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Glen and Wanda Wheeler; brothers, Ronnie Wheeler, Larry Wheeler, Dean Hodgen, and Kevin Parker; and niece Kelly Metoyer.
Donna was a devout Christian who was saved at the age of 17. She was quiet and reserved but shared her faith in God enthusiastically with her family. She attended Centerpoint Church of God of Prophecy as long as her health permitted. Donna lived to please her family, cooking meals and enjoying her grandchildren. Throughout her life, Donna had many cherished pets. She was a natural caregiver, showing unconditional love for her family and animals. She left a strong legacy of love and selflessness and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Graveside services will be 10am, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Edward Casey and Bro. Jake Lawrence officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home.
