Doris Potvin Obituary

Doris M. Potvin passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, at the age of 87 in Zephyrhills, Florida. Born on July 29, 1937, in Amesbury, Massachusetts, Doris lived a life full of grace, warmth, and dedication to her family and community.
Doris spent her professional career in sales with Kyocera Corporation, where she was known for her commitment and strong work ethic. Outside of her career, she found joy in the art of ballroom dancing and the serenity of camping, pursuits that allowed her to express her love for movement and the great outdoors.
A proud member of the Elks Club of Zephyrhills, Doris cherished the friendships and camaraderie she found within this community. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her.
Doris was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas and Juliette Houle McDonald, and her sister, Jane Proia. She is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Edward Potvin; her children, David Carrier and his wife Kara, and Diane Statton and her husband Bil. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Linda McCormick, and her husband Timothy.
Her grandchildren, Nichelle Allard, Mark Carrier, Adam Statton, and Dana Statton, along with her six great-grandchildren, will forever hold her memory dear, treasuring the love and wisdom she imparted to them throughout their lives.
Doris's family and friends will remember her as a woman of great kindness and strength, whose love and passion touched the lives of those around her. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all.
