Aunt Dorothy was my role model. The first time I met her I was so happy to have her as an Aunt. She was beautiful inside and out - her laugh was contagious. She brought so much happiness to us - I treasure our time together and am so thankful I had her in my life - memories are a treasure

I extend my deepest condolences to family and friends. Though we never met in person, we became friends on FB for many years. Both of us lived in Hamtramck and it was a joy to share in our memories of gentler times. I will miss Dorothy greatly. She has returned home to collect her angel wings and is being greeted by her loving husband. A life well lived filled with love for so many!

Although she was my aunt, she was only 12 years older than me and I used to call her my big sister because I didn´t have any sisters. I am gonna miss her so so much I spent the first 12 years of my life living upstairs from her memories of going to Downtown movie theaters with her as a child on street cars dancing we did so much dancing until we couldn´t anymore as a child she used to sing on the radio. She was so beautiful so so beautiful I´m gonna miss you at Dorothy my big sis. We talked and laughed together for hours on the phone very often she was the glue that held our family together.
