Dorothy Griffith Weatherall Obituary

Dorothy Jane (Hatten) Griffith Weatherall passed peacefully at the age of 90 on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Willow Brook Christian Village.
Dorothy is survived by her son Mark (Patricia) Griffith; daughters Linda (Matt) McClure and Diane (Kenny) Girardi; 7 beloved grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by husband Robert Weatherall; siblings Harvey Hatten and Alene Todd; devoted nephew Jeff Cummins as well as multiple other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband Jack E. Griffith, her parents Francis & Nora Hatten, sister Norma Cummins.
Dorothy worked at the Delaware County Bank, First National and Heartland Bank in various positions as bank manager and in Mortgage Origination and became Vice President of Heartland Mortgage. She was a member of the Woman's Banking Association, Charity Newsies, American Legion Women's Auxiliary and the Buckeye Boys Ranch.
Dorothy was an active member of the Highland Baptist Church in Grove City, where she was on the Bereavement Committee and helped with the children's ministry. She had a gift of baking and often shared her homemade peach pies.
Dorothy shined brightest when surrounded by her grandchildren. She shared her love of the Lord and it has been channeled down faithfully through her entire family.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Willow Brook for their exceptional care of Dorothy for over the past 15 years.
