After over 46 years of service, Doug retired from Newport News Shipbuilding in 2002 as a Master Shipbuilder.
Doug leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Georgia Anne Callahan; two sons, Robert and John; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are private. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
