I always enjoyed visiting with him. He was a very interesting man. He will be greatly missed. I was a neighbor for many years.

I was in the Class of 1969 with Doug and knew him as a most honest and sincere guy in our years there. He was respected for his upright beliefs and humor. It's strange that his name came into my head, so I went on line to see what he might be doing in our retirement years. Lo and behold I was astounded to see he had recently passed away. What a truly great guy. Dr. Jack Mayer, Class of '69

Dr.Cone will always be one of my most favorite people. His generosity and his compassion for all of us that worked at St. Mary´s Surgery Center and the patients will always be fondly remembered . Marilyn and the boys, I know you will miss him a lot, but you have so many wonderful memories of him to comfort you at this time.

I worked at St Mary Surgicenter with Dr. Cone for many years until he retired. He was one in a million anesthesiologist and person. His personality was one that i never forgot. My the fly high in Heaven and make everyone laugh there like you did here on earth. Rest in peace Dr. Cone.

Mr Cone was a great man. I´ll never forget him and his family. Great people. My family and I lived next door to him on 70th place in the 70´s and 80´s. He grew a beautiful garden and introduced me to the great rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. Rest in peace Sir for a life well lived. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Marilyn and his family.
